Governor Nasir El Rufai
has ordered an investigation into the discovery of five locally made
AK-47 rifles and a magazine in a car that was involved in an accident
last week.
In a statement issued by
his spokesman, Mr Samuel Aruwan, Sunday, he said the Kaduna State
government had received a briefing on the accident from the Sector
Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps and the governor had ordered
an immediate investigation into the matter.
It will be recalled that the fatal accident, involving two vehicles, occurred on May 12 at Mazuga, Kachia Local Government Area.
