Event: Igbokoda Hospital (Ondo State) Fundraiser Dinnner, UK (Poster)

Three hundred thousand people are estimated to live in the Igbokoda region which has one general hospital with one doctor and six nurses.

The hospital is supported by trainee medical staff and those from the community. It has an average visit of a thousand patients a week, with many being turned away due to lack of resources, some simply stay away to administer self-help and for those that can, they tend to travel to the next town to seek advanced medical assistance.

During his Royal London visit in April 2017; The HRM Kabiyesi (King) Afolabi Oladimeji Odidiomo Olu of Igbokoda Kingdom Ondo State appealed for assistance to better his Kingdom for the betterment of his people. The King detailed some of the areas that were in dire need for improvement those being; Health, Education and Employment; though not limited to those fields however calling on major and immediate development. The King appealed for assistance from those that have the ability or resources to make a difference. In acknowledging the enormity of the project the King appointed 3 new Chiefs to lead this development with the care for a growing need for the community.
