Tade Ogidan's Gold Statue Hits Cinemas

Nigerian award winning director ‘’Tade Ogidan’’is back to the nollywood scene, and this time around he is back with an upcoming adventure comedy film titled “Gold Statue" the film has been in production for about a month.

The veteran filmmaker has released new images, taking fans behind the scenes of the anticipated Nollywood movie.

Auwal Ismaeela, a top Boko Haram commander, has surrendered and confessed to leading the squads that abducted the Chibok girls in 2014.

Ismaeela said he was tired of the “senseless” atrocities of the insurgent group, hence his decision to surrender.

Police warn Enugu drivers, passengers against collecting edibles from strangers

The Police in Enugu State have warned drivers and passengers against collecting edibles from strangers who use drugs on people and dispossess them of their belongings.
 
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Ebere Amaraizu, gave the warning in a statement on Sunday in Enugu.
