How Nigeria Exited Recession – Lai Mohammed

The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, has said that taking Nigeria out of recession did not happen by accident but a culmination of hard work and fidelity to well-articulated economic policies.

Recession exit report not doctored – Kale

The National Bureau of Statistics on Wednesday said that its Gross Domestic Product report which showed that Nigeria exited recession in the second quarter was not politically motivated.

The Statistician-General for the Federation and Chief Executive, NBS, Dr Yemi Kale stated this during a chat with journalists in Abuja.

US Issues 65-Day Ultimatum To Nigerian Airlines


The United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has given Nigerian airlines a 65-day ultimatum to resolve specified security issues or risk being barred from flying to its country.

The ultimatum was issued on August 24 following a visit by a team of US FAA officials who recently carried out an audit for the renewal of Nigeria’s category one safety status.
